This program supports the commercial feasibility of innovative natural products and technologies to attract and de-risk subsequent investment. Canadian SMEs, start-up companies, and academic research institutes can receive funding to help cover the costs associated with a proof of concept project for an 18-month period. The applicant will be required to contribute 60% of the cost over the project period.
