The "Accueillez un stagiaire" program offers a wage subsidy for professional, college, and university-level interns. This grant is available to employers in Québec, including private and not-for-profit organizations, both French and English-speaking, of all sizes and across most industries. The program covers 50% of the wages (up to $5,000) for each new placement, and 70% of the wages (up to $7,000) for placements involving under-represented groups. This program is funded by the Government of Canada as part of the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP). Funding is currently open for the Winter 2026 session.
